Wall, window, door types
✨ Features
Create and edit wall, window, and door types! You will now see a type dropdown when you have a wall, window, or door selected. We’ll be adding more default types in the near future, but for now there’s 1 default. Click the three dots in the top of the right sidebar to get a menu for duplicating or editing the type. Types can be deleted via the type dropdown - you can’t delete types being used in the project and you can’t delete the default Arcol type (we’ll be fixing that in the future).
Select all walls, windows, or doors of the same type → right click on a wall, window, or door and choose “Select all X of same type” in the dropdown. You can use this to very quickly update types in your project.
You can now select open sketches in the scene (ie. sketches without a surface). It’s pretty finicky at the moment, we’ll be fixing in the near future.
Sketch editing → Edit any non-extruded sketches after creating them (we’ll add support for editing extruded sketches soon). Editing includes dragging, adding, or removing points.
Sketch on any face → You can now sketch on the faces of extruded objects…and extrude those sketches! All sketches are coplanar, so you can also start drawing on a face and draw off of the face along the same construction plane.
Revit import mapping → There are now properties for
FamilyandNameon walls, windows, and doors. Revit family and name can be specified here to map which families Arcol elements should come in as when importing to Revit.UI update → various improvements to make Arcol prettier and easier to use (eg. the “Show Plane” checkbox in the right sidebar is now 2 big buttons instead of a little checkbox)
🐛 Bug Fixes
Our right sidebar was not scrollable - this is now fixed
