We thought a lot about the details — this isn't just a fresh coat of paint it's how we tell our story and vision for the future.

Why Redesign? | 02.17.2025
Our website and brand is an extension of our product — we put extensive craftsmanship into our product and we needed a site that was held to the same standard. Our site is the first impression of Arcol and it should feel as good to be on our site as it does to use our Product.
Our site embodies the dynamic nature of building design — a process that’s ever-evolving, filled with shifting ideas, emerging challenges, and creative solutions. In the AEC industry, nothing stands still. Projects thrive on collaboration and problem-solving. The motion in our brand reflects this energy, celebrating the remarkable outcomes that arise when diverse minds work together.

Our new look better represents what Arcol is and who it's for—architects, developers, contractors and owners. Beyond this though we wanted to update our site and language to speak to a mission these groups care about — meaningful change in AEC technology.
We worked with our friends at FuzzCo to use language and assets that are equally imaginative and rebellious. We are are not satisfied with the status quo of AEC design tools and we don't think you should be either.
We’re here to upgrade building design, and our new brand reflects that ambition.
Fun | 02.19.2025
Most AEC sites feel rigid and uninspiring and are littered with buzzwords. How did AEC get here? It's a poor reflection of the creative and dynamic work of building design.
A core part of our rebrand is fun. We've talked about bringing the magic back to building design and part of that is talking to our audience like a humans and not taking ourselves too seriously. We spent time adding areas of delight and poking fun at the current state of AEC with areas like our Workaround Hall of Fame, a nod to the lengths AEC has had to go to accomplish even the simplest tasks.
By prioritizing fun we hope to have real, honest and clear conversations and content where people can see themselves and recognize their experience first hand.

Storytelling is something we take immense pride in — it reflects our passion, our willingness to challenge assumptions, and our belief that real change in the AEC industry is possible.
From the first day we began to explore a new brand we were determined to break free from the mold of a typical AEC site.
The final result is intentionally unconventional, standing out from the sameness that often characterizes the industry. This simple story tells our story while being authentic to who we are; ambitious, a little weird, and not ones to take ourselves too seriously. Through this, we aim to show that we are distinct by design — a fresh voice intentionally different from the AEC status quo.
