I’m excited to announce another awesome addition to the Arcol team.

Willy has spent the last 5 years at Figma building design tools for designers. They have an incredibly rare overlap of being both a designer AND an engineer 🤯

We’re excited for them to bring all that experience to helping us build a beautiful design tool for AEC.

Here’s a little from Willy:

Hi, I’m Willy! Part designer, part engineer, I have a soft spot for creative tools and delightful UI/UX. Previously at Figma, I’ve worked on everything from the FigJam toolbar to Auto layout.

At Arcol, I’m excited to influence both the form and function of the product. It’s a unique opportunity to rethink architecture software from being complex and challenging to intuitive and magical — and I’d love to infuse a just little more joy into the creative process.

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again, a core part of my thesis for building Arcol is to focus on having a small, lean team that is incredibly talented. We are extremely patient in hiring for Arcol, getting to work with incredible people like Willy is what makes it worth it.
