What You’ll Do at Arcol
Work on a variety of feature areas across the Arcol product, including collaborative features like multi-user editing, version control, and conflict resolution.
Collaborate closely with designers, product managers, and other engineers to define the vision for the Arcol product.
Improve performance and stability across Arcol’s platform, ensuring a seamless experience across larger teams and projects.
Contribute to our engineering culture by mentoring teammates, sharing knowledge, and helping us push the boundaries of what’s possible in browser-based 3D design.
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience partnering with design and product to build and ship user-facing applications.
Strong computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures, and a sense of how technologies we use work under the hood.
Passion for intuitive user experiences and solving complex interaction challenges in 3D design tools.
Strong communication and collaboration skills—Arcol is a highly team-oriented environment.
And a subset of the following:
Experience with web technologies: TypeScript, JavaScript, React, WebAssembly, WebGL/WebGPU.
Experience with native technologies: Rust, C++, GPU programming.
Experience working with collaborative, multi-user applications, such as state synchronization, CRDT/OT, etc.
Experience leading technical initiatives or mentoring other engineers.
Knowledge of architectural design workflows or CAD/BIM software.
